Patriot Excalibur (PEX) Sustainment Support
Kessel Run, Air Force Life Cycle Management Center (AFLCMC) Detachment 12, remote/on-site at Langley AFB, VA, Offutt AFB, NE, and Barksdale AFB, LA.
Supported by: OTS (prime)
Scope: OTS provides Agile software development, enhancement, and maintenance of the PEX software application. PEX is a unit-level software toolset that enables Air Force, Joint Service, and Foreign Military personnel to conduct accurate and real-time operational tasks and track readiness status, connecting functional areas within a unit. The PEX end user population includes more than 50,000 end users across multiple stakeholders, including the Air Combat Command (ACC), Air National Guard (ANG), Air Force Global Strike Command (AFGSC), and US Space Force (USSF). OTS also provides server and infrastructure support, cloud migration, training, and 24/7 Tier 2 help desk support to the Commands and end users worldwide. Programming languages/technologies used in performance of this contract include, but are not limited to: GitLab, Concourse, SonarQube, Fortify, Jira, .NET, and C#.
Data Warehouse (DWH) Software Engineering
Naval Oceanographic Office (NAVOCEANO), Stennis Space Center, MS.
Supported by: OTS (prime)
Scope: Over the course of three distinct contract terms, OTS provided software engineering support to modernize legacy NAVOCEANO DWH applications, which include tailored oceanographic, hydrographic, bathymetric, geophysical, and acoustic products, data, and services that aid in safe navigation and effective mission planning for the DoD worldwide. Following a combination of agile DevSecOps and incremental methodologies, OTS Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) upgraded NAVOCEANO’s existing DWH to build and run successfully with the latest Government-approved versions of the Oracle database, ArcGIS for Server, and ArcGIS API for JavaScript. OTS’ DevSecOps support included addressing cybersecurity requirements, code scans, and Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIG) remediation and compliance. Our team also addressed defect and operational availability issues for development, testing, and deployment of the applications in both NIPR and SIPR environments. Programming languages/technologies used included: JavaScript, Python, ArcGIS Server/ESRI ArcGIS Desktop, .NET, C#, Oracle, HTML5, and Selenium.
